Der Soundtrack zu Game of Thrones wurde von dem deutsch-iranischen Komponisten Ramin Djawadi geschrieben. Djawadi, geboren am 19.07.1974 in Duisburg (Nordrhein-Westfalen), komponierte unter anderem die Filmmusiken zu Blade: Trinity, Jagdfieber, Iron Man und so vieles mehr.
